August 29 will be a special day at Holy Comforter! At 9:30 we are honored to welcome Janet Davis who will lead our Coffeehouse Theology conversation. At 10:30, we celebrate the Baptism, Confirmation, and Reaffirmation of Faith of 9 people.Bishop Rayford High, who has a special place in his heart for Holy Comforter, will be our celebrant.
After worship, we'll enjoy Texas' best BBQ in the parish hall. Cooked by the men of HC (guys are welcome to help the cooks anytime on Saturday, from 8-4), the BBQ will be accompanied by the sides we all provide. A special day, indeed!
